Visit El Santuario de ChimayO, known as the "Lourdes of northern New Mexico," and a nearby weaving center – Alan Osborne, guide

1:15 pm – 5:00 pm EXCURSION: Bus departs for the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (1:45 pm). Also quick look at Arts and Crafts Museum.  At 3:30 the bus will depart for the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum (3:45 pm) and other downtown museums.

5:00 pm Bus will return to the hotel at 5:00 pm, but if you wish, you may stay downtown for dinner. (Transportation back to the hotel for those who stay downtown will be on your own)

FREE EVENING: Dinner is on your own tonight! The group leader can offer suggestions for restaurants both near the hotel and in the downtown area.

Day 6, FRIDAY, April 8

8:00 am – 4:00 pm                   FIELD TRIP: All-day trip to Taos, with stops at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge

and the Millicent Rogers Museum (10:30 am) – Alan Osborne, guide.

Uncertainty of gov’t shutdown and end of our program. Places to be visited are national parks, etc.
